    An Alaskan guide service that allows you to experience some of the finest salmon fishing available.  Mike is an experienced guide with over 20 years experience fishing the Kenai and Kasilof rivers.  He has spent more than 10 years guiding clients from around the world and is USCG licensed and insured.

THE FISHING TRIP:

On this trip you'll have the chance to sit back and relax in a comfortable boat while fishing for what might be the next big record.  We have both power and drift boat available to take you to where the fish are.

LOCATION:

Both the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers are located near the town of Soldotna, Alaska in the center of the Kenai Peninsula (Alaska's Playground).  Soldotna is approximately 150 miles south of Anchorage on the Sterling Highway a scenic 3 hour drive or a short 20 minute flight.

RATES:

Rates will vary depending upon the season and the length of the trip. Typically, a half day trip of fishing will last 5.5 to 6 hours on the water and costs $150.00 per person. A full day of fishing lasts 10 hours and costs $250.00 per person.   "Ask about our May special."                                                                                                                              A 25% deposit is required on all reservations and booking early is strongly recommended. 

GEAR NEEDED:

We fish rain or shine, as well as in early mornings, which can be really cold. Even though daytime temperatures can exceed 70 degrees Fahrenheit, you should come prepared for Alaska's changing climate. You should bring the following:

FISHING SEASON:

The fishing season runs from May through September with King Salmon being the main attraction. The Kenai River holds the current world record King Salmon of 97lbs 4oz. The King Salmon season closes the 31st of July.  Salmon fishing is for everyone: men, women, and children.  The whole family can enjoy the trip.
The area also has excellent fishing for red salmon (Sockeye), silver salmon (Coho), pink salmon (Humpies), rainbow trout, and halibut.

ABOUT THE GUIDE:

I've lived most of my life in Alaska and grew up fishing these rivers.    I've spent the last 11 years working as a guide.  To me this is a way of life, not just a hobby.  I can assure you that I will do everything possible to make your trip as enjoyable and successful as possible.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS:

Other attractions in the area besides salmon fishing include: Halibut Charters, Clam Digging, Hiking, Sight Seeing, Bear Viewing, Fly Outs, Glacier Tours, and rafting trips.
